Kirsten Madsen’s fiction has been published in The Walrus, Prairie Fire, The New Quarterly and the Alaska Quarterly Review. She has been a finalist for the CBC Short Story Prize, the Writers’ Union of Canada short story competition, The Malahat Review’s Open Season and The New Quarterly’s Peter Hinchcliffe fiction awards.
Kirsten lives in Whitehorse, Yukon on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation and the Ta’an Kwach’an Council.
