Violet Pettigrew-Olliffe lives with her two moms and her poodle Peggy in Toronto. Accomplishments she is currently proud of include: coming in 92nd out of 400 people in cross country, sticking with piano lessons for 8 years, playing ukulele.
In 2019 Violet spent the summer in Dawson City, as "photographer in residence" at Berton House (where her mother was writer in residence). She is 12 2/3 years old.
Plant Encounters is Violet's first time being in a professional art show. She is really excited and proud that her image was selected.
